Q: 1.What kind of foundations do we put under the Memorials?
A: We comply with cemetery regulations. If the cemetery doesn't have any regulations, we dig a hole the size of the Memorial 3ft. deep square off the bottom and fill it with cement mixed at the site. We do not use sacrete.                                              back to top

Q: 2.What about borders on foundations?
A: When the cemetery requires them or the customer desires them. We recommend granite foundation caps because cement exposed to the weather will deteriorate. Granite is not affected by the weather.                                                                      back to top

Q: 3.Why do we recommend granite over marble or sandstone?
A: Marble and sandstone being softer stones will wear over time. Granite will last for centuries.                         back to top

Q: 4.How long do etchings in Black Granite last?
A: These etchings are actually cut into the granite. Therefore they will not wear away.                                            back to top
